Fully Operational

Looks like IKE is going to miss us. We may get some Squally weather, and wind gusts in the 40's, but nothing worse than that.

We don't expect IKE to effect operations in any way.

Hurricane IKE

Commcare Pharmacy is closely watching Hurricane Ike. Ike is a Major Hurricane, and a direct hit on South Florida would be devastating.

That being said, Commcare Pharmacy has never been closed for more than 24 hours due to any storm. We have operated pharmacies through Andrew, Wilma, Jean and Frances. During those storms, we closed our facilities in order to protect our employees, and re-opened and began providing services immediately after the storm.

Fully Operational

All Systems and Services are currently online and Fully Operational.

Commcare Pharmacy has a full emergency plan (which is rehearsed regularly) in order to ensure that the healthcare services we provide our patients continue uninterrupted in the event of major catastrophes. This plan was utilized during hurricanes Wilma, Frances, and Jean -- And patient services continued uninterupted. During hurricane Katrina, Comcmare Pharmacy was called upon to provide over 2,500 prescriptions to residents of effected areas.
